StarCore
Sensar designs sophisticated, compact printed circuit boards and embedded systems to meet specific use-case objectives. Beacon and MultiBoard, our current generation boards, are designed to connect over I2C, SPI and Serial protocols. Power management and signal integrity are integral to the design. Firmware bitbanging is also a core competency at Sensar.
StarStream
Sensor data is the lifeblood of IOT. Sensar has developed a data packet level transmission and management protocol called StarStream that allows for full duplex data transmission, data flow management, and sensor management. For customers, StreamStream delivers data reliability, security and transport efficiency. For IOT system deployers, StarStream speeds inter-element debugging, allowing for faster deployments.
While StarStream began as a way to solve a problem of sensor uptime in some of the harshest weather conditions in North America, we have found StarStream also has profound benefits for flowing sensor data to Augmented and Virtual reality systems. This has allowed Sensar to develop sensor-driven active holograms in AR space.
StarScape
Sensar StarScape extends Zoom conferencing to Augmented Reality. It starts with the Sensar StarScape app in the Zoom marketplace (coming soon). Like a standard conference, the Sensar app sets the meeting ID, coordinates participants, and handles scheduling and notifications. It also coordinates between the Zoom cloud, Sensar’s spatial presence server, the 3D media content server, the StarStream AR/VR/MR Meeting Coordination Server, and the StarStream IOT Decision Support Server. Despite the complexity behind the scenes, the result is a seamless HoloConferencing experience for participants.
We are solving how to collaboratively solve and manage a class of complex, real world problems. By deploying 100’s or 1000’s of sensors in the real world (eg. IOT), monitoring and measuring real world conditions, applying Cloud-based AI, ML and analytics, then visualizing the results in near real time as a 3D active hologram, teams can understand the real world context of their operational challenge. Zoom technologies help teams to collaborate to solve those problems.
